We’re pleased to confirm that we’re just awaiting confirmation now from the Financial Service Authority (FSA) that the Supporters Trust is formally set up; all the documentation we have to get written and signed has been and we believe by the end of this month the Supporters Trust will be formally in existence.

As such, we will be shortly giving details on how to join the trust formally. Although we haven’t got any free pens or badges to give away yet, joining will enable you to help shape how the Trust works and what it’s aims are, and to help build it’s influence with the club.

We’re planning to do a “roadshow” of sorts of informal meetings in pubs around Brum so that you can get involved; whether it’s to ask questions or to make suggestions – we want your input. Likewise, we’re going to be updating the website, the twitter (@bluestrust) and facebook accounts frequently – not just with what we’re up to but with your ideas and your thoughts.

We’re planning to formally launch the trust with a big public meeting – this has been pencilled in for April 7th (the day of the Palace home game) although this may change subject to confirmation on meeting rooms etc. We’re also delighted to confirm that we now have a physical HQ at the Royal George Hotel and Bar on Garrison Lane.

The next month is going to entail lots of hard graft as we work to publicise the trust, to organise the launch meeting and to build the movement. If you would like to get involved please get in touch via our email address – info@bluestrust.org
