Blues Trust is pleased to confirm that it will be holding a fans’ forum meeting prior to the nPower Championship home fixture against Nottingham Forest on February 2nd.
The meeting will take place downstairs at The Royal George Hotel & Bar, located on the corner of Garrison Lane, commencing at 11am.
Open to all Birmingham City supporters’ groups, members and concerned individuals, the meeting hopes to unite Birmingham City fans – Trust members or otherwise – and the Club’s various fan groups, in order to establish an agreed way forward amid heightened uncertainty surrounding Birmingham City FC and its finances.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and put their own questions to the current Blues Trust Board as well as engage in a discussion regarding the current status of the club and its potential sale, with the aim of deciding on a united way forward for supporters to get behind.
Facebook users can join the fans’ forum event page by clicking here. Would-be Blues Trust members will be able to sign up as a member on the day.
The Trust Board looks forward to meeting you.
Now that the pressure is growing against Mr Pannu & Co. Can you please organise a fans protest at the next home game. We need as many fans as possible to attend this game and make there feeling known to the national press. Some one has suggested on another forum waving wallets or money in the air before and after the game.
One personnel note I would like to thank all at the blues trust for the continued efforts to return our club back to a stable footing
KRO
Or from another forum slow hand clap on the 18 and 75 minutes
Mr Jones,
Would you mind elaborating on your point?
Best,
Blues Trust
This is a post i left on the often partisan site. I suggested a slow hand clap on the 18th and 75th minutes. No other club has ever done this, and it’s a simple way of getting everyone involved in the ground at the same time. As long as there is no chanting or singing while it’s being done, it will be quite effective in getting the media aware of what’s happening at our club.
No point if Pannu is oversees.
Do we need to book a place, or can we just turn up
Hi Alf,
No need to book a place – simply turn up at the Royal George. We are advising however to get there early so you are not disappointed, as once the room is full, nobody else will be let in for a number of safety reasons.
Best,
Blues Trust
Dear Blues Trust, as a shareholder in the club ( I did not sell my shares when the takeover took place ) is there anything I can do in order to bring pressure on the board to move on or anything else that may assist your good selves to assist our beloved club
Please e-mail me at any time if there is anything I can do- albeit only as a minority shareholder, but anything I can do goes without saying
Hi Mark,
The Trust will be in touch with you in due course.
Kind regards,
Blues Trust
Hello,
Can you confirm the capacity of the room?
My father and I travel up to games from the West Country so would have to leave much earlier to ensure we come to this meeting. If the room is full and doors are closed when we arrive it will be disappointing and leave us with 4 hours to burn until kick-off.
Hope you can help. Neil.
Not sure of exact figures, Neil, but would suggest arriving as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
