Blues Trust is pleased to confirm details of its next open meeting to be held at Birmingham’s Custard Factory complex on Sunday 23 June. The Trust Board is to present brand new strategy proposals in a bid to seek a new mandate from members.
Like all Supporters’ Trusts, Blues Trust is only as strong as its membership. The forthcoming open meeting is an opportunity for members and the wider Birmingham City fan base to discuss in depth new strategy proposals and members’ own personal suggestions. Members will be able to submit their thoughts and ideas prior to the meeting via a form on the Blues Trust website.
To accommodate for all individuals wishing to attend the open meeting, the event will be split into two sessions. The first will commence at 10 am prompt, followed by an afternoon session starting at 1 pm. Both sessions are scheduled to last no longer than two hours. Facebook users can join our open meeting event page here.
On the day, attendees will be provided with an open meeting booklet. Enclosed will be a full summary of the Trust’s progress to date following an investigation into the corporate governance of Birmingham City FC and Birmingham International Holdings Limited. The booklet will also include an overview of the Trust’s latest proposals as well as a detachable suggestions form, to be completed by attendees and returned to the Board following the meeting’s conclusion. Additionally, there will be significant opportunity for supporters to question the Trust Board as part of an extended question and answer session.
As part of the meeting arrangements, all attendees will be entered into a raffle competition to win a Birmingham City 2012/13 home shirt signed by Nathan Redmond. The winner of the competition will be announced on Monday 24 June. Terms and conditions apply.
Detailed strategy proposals will be released shortly. Any further announcements will be communicated in due course.
