On 4th December 2015, we published details of a new group of Birmingham City fans called ‘Blues4All‘. One of their aims is to provide opportunities for young supporters to attend home matches for the first time and experience the atmosphere at St Andrews.
So, to support the Club’s efforts to increase Asian inclusion and development in grass roots football, they brought some members from the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple in Highgate to the home game with Ipswich Town at St Andrews last Saturday.
“They witnessed a superb match and a 3-0 win, had a great time and will be back to show their support. The children had an amazing day and for the majority of the group this was a first time experience at St Andrews. The group had a great time and loved the atmosphere. There was encouraging feedback from fellow supporters which made the group feel really welcome.” said Micky Singh
Seven year old Kharam Singh Taak said “it was great” and his favourite moment was celebrating when Blues scored.
Blues Trust supports this “Blues4All” initiative and hope that it will encourage the local community to support Birmingham City Football Club and attend football matches at our stadium.
