We are delighted to announce that Blues Trust has recently acquired some ordinary 10p shares in Birmingham City Plc (BCPLC) from one of our contacts.

We are now one of the minority shareholders holding some of the ordinary shares that were not acquired by Birmingham International Holdings Ltd (BIHL) on its takeover of BCPLC in 2009, nor by Trillion Trophy Asia Ltd (TTA) when it recently tried to acquire those shares in November 2016.

Because TTA own approximately 97% of the shares in BCFC, the quantity acquired by Blues Trust is inevitably a small percentage of the total. However, because we are now a shareholder, it will enable us to attend Company shareholder meetings whenever we wish and we can perhaps liaise with and maybe speak for other minority shareholders, with their permission, on important matters.

We would like to think that this may be the first step on a long road.  At some point in the future we may perhaps try to acquire more shares in BCPLC so that we could collectively have more influence.  If any of the other minority shareholders wish to co-operate with us, please get in touch  by email at admin@bluestrust.org or by letter to our registered office address below.
