We would like to welcome Steve Cotterill as the Club’s new First Team Manager, and wish him the best of luck for the rest of the season. There is a team with much potential here and we hope that, given space and time, Steve will be the man to unleash it.

We would also like to congratulate Lee Carsley on his deserved promotion to Assistant Manager. Lee has impressed us all with his measured, thoughtful approach over the last two weeks, not to mention a pair of excellent results achieved under difficult circumstances. We’re very pleased that he’ll be able to continue his encouraging work whilst also gaining the necessary experience to make the next step.

We can now all look forward to a promising new chapter for Birmingham City Football Club.

A nicely worded, well measured message of welcome to the new Manager. I share the view that Lee Carsley should be congratulated on his promotion to Assistant Manager. I can’t add any more to The Blues Trust’s comments, they say it all. Keep Right On.

I believe the appointments are good for the future of the club. I also believe, that it won’t be an easy ride this season, but I do believe that good foundations will be built and we will climb up the table. Next season will exiting and very rewarding. KRO
