Welcome Garry Monk

We also hope that they can have the immediate impact our team badly needs. They can be sure of the backing of some of the very best supporters in the country to help them on their way.
We applaud the Board for moving decisively to replace Steve Cotterill, but this chaotic and damaging cycle of reactionary short-term thinking has to end now. If nobody within the current Board can describe a coherent strategy for the Club, then the Chairman must appoint someone capable of doing so.
The Board must back Garry and give him time and space to embed his principles on and off the field. He must be encouraged and supported across the duration of his contract to regenerate the entire Club, regardless of whatever happens this season.
In turn, the supporters need to inform him by defining what we want from Birmingham City Football Club; by talking about our hopes and aspirations for the Club. The Trust intends to begin the process of finding this out over the coming months.

Hi
As a blues fan, I’m pleased that Garry monk has signed a long term contract but what worries me is if we are relegated ,has he got a get out clause which means yet again we will be looking for another manager,it was neither confirmed or denied at press conference.ive written to mr ren before the appt but had no reply to my various concerns.we cannot afford to be looking for another manager at that point
Robert,
Whether we like it or not we have no right to know the details of Garry’s contract. Notwithstanding it relates to an employee/employer relationship a relegation break clause is also commercially sensitive
