Questions

This afternoon we were notified that the first fan forum of the season will be on Thursday, September 6, and a member of the club’s board will be present.  Questions need to be submitted by Monday.

We were planning to discuss what questions to ask at the Blues Trust board meeting on Tuesday, but we will need to decide before that. Other Blues Trust board members may have different ideas for questions but here are some of mine:

• At the May 24 Supporters Forum meeting, in response to questions about the impact of Financial Fair Play regulations, the club replied, “There is nothing to say. We are continuing business as usual.” When did the club first become aware that it had recorded losses in excess of the permitted amounts?
• When is the Disciplinary Commission due to make a decision about sanctions?
• Are the owners of the club planning to fund losses by buying shares?
• Who has taken over the responsibility for the jobs that were done by the senior managers who have left?

As well as deciding which questions to ask, we need to decide what to do if our questions are not answered. If you have any comments or suggestions, please email me and I’ll pass them on to the other board members.
