National Football Museum Campaign: ‘Game of our lives’

The National Football Museum has asked Blues Trust to let you know that it launched ‘Game of Our Lives’ – a nationwide campaign to unearth the best football stories and memories from fans – the sorts of yarns told and retold countless times over a pint at the pub. It’s designed to celebrate those timeless tales that might otherwise be lost between generations and to give football fans a reason to reminisce while football is on hold during the lockdown.

It’s the first time in the museum’s history that fans are being asked to directly contribute to the museum, with stories to be collated into a collection to feature both digitally and at the museum once it reopens, where they will be shared with visitors from around the world. It offers the chance for fans to take their place within the museum and to have your club take centre stage.

As an integral part of the football community, the museum would love Blues Trust members and followers to take part and share stories with them on social media.

The museum is asking fans to share their stories, including photos and video, on social media tagging @footballmuseum and using the hashtag #gameofourlives. Of course, you can tag our club #bcfc and the Trust #bluestrust as well. Those without social media can send their stories via email to gameofourlives@nationalfootballmuseum.com. If you decide to send an email, please also copy in the Trust at admin@bluestrust.org.

Also, the museum has a nice video you’re welcome to use across social media, online and over email (See below).
