Well? What do you think of events at the Blues this past week? And what are your expectations for the upcoming fixtures? Whether it is about results, performances or developments off the pitch, here is an opportunity to share your views on the week that has just been for BCFC and also to look ahead to the weekend.

Blues Trust will be posting the Pinboard every Thursday morning so that Blues fans can express opinions, good and bad, about progress as the season unfolds. And your thoughts for the fixtures coming up.

We hope you’ll participate, and maybe sometimes even start a conversation, by letting us and other Blues fans know what you think……

Im loving the euphoria surrounding the club at the moment, but would just like to comment on my concern, as an exiled older fan from the lower Kop, about car parking around the ground. It’s been a problem for as long as I can remember, with theft and vandalism, but I believe it’s much worse since I went last ( pre Covid) due to council restrictions, and even the aggressive actions of local residents. Once the stadium fully reopens, and hopefully, the club prospers, this will only get worse. This really needs urgent action between the club, the council, and possibly the police. I really want to renew my season ticket, but it is dependant on my ability to get there and back safely.

I’m sure I speak for much of the fanbase when I say that this is the most exciting and promising start to a season we’ve had for a very long time.
Granted things are not perfect on or off the pitch, but both of these aspects have improved considerably over the last two months, and I am confident they will continue to steadily improve under the new regime.
I noted Jukey’s appreciation for the job John Eustace has been doing since he became Head Coach, and I couldn’t agree more. He has quietly gone about his work and has proven himself as a coach who develops young talent, be they our Academy lads or loanees from other clubs. There are already several players who he has clearly improved, including the likes of George Hall, Jordan James, Alfie Chang, Auston Trusty, Tahiti Chong and Hannibal Mjebri, who have all become better players for having worked with JE and his team. On the pitch currently I think we are a goal scoring striker and an additional decent central defender short of a very good side.
Off the pitch there are obviously still improvements to be made, some of which will generate more income for the club immediately (for example sorting out the ‘clunkiness’ of the online ticket ordering system and improving the speed of service at the refreshments kiosks, to name but two).
However, we now have our club back and it seems the connection between the fans, players AND the owners is stronger than ever before, which is the recipe for success!

I have heard today that the company completing work on the lower tiers of the ground have gone into administration.

Has anyone else seen this or had it confirmed??

If so the club need to issue a statement about whether or not this impacts on the progress and timelines of the ground fully reopening.

I understand the club will be making an announcement later according to Alex Dickins
