Yesterday evening, Sgt Mike Wilkinson and PC Colin Barlow met with some Blues supporters to talk about the policing of Birmingham City games. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss arrangements for the game at Villa Park in February. Supporters who went to the game there last season agreed that the arrangements had worked well and similar arrangements are planned for this season.
I care about the long-term future of Birmingham City; I want the club to be around for the children and grandchildren of today’s supporters. So, I’m concerned about Harry Redknapp’s reputation for short-termism.

I came away from the Supporters Summit at St George’s Park, with a renewed belief in the need for better regulation of football clubs.
Gianfranco Zola and his backroom staff held a question and answer session at St. Andrew’s last Tuesday evening.
On stage, he was joined with First Team Coaches Pierluigi Casiraghi and Gabriele Cioffi, to chat about Blues, his career and football in general.
