FSA: Pitch Incursions & Pyro – Know The Score

1 Aug 2022 | 1 comment

This week the football authorities and police announced a new clampdown on pitch incursions and pyro – with stricter enforcement and punishments coming into place this coming season.

In recent seasons, we’ve had many fans come to us looking for help after being accidentally caught on the wrong side of the law after going on the pitch.

At the end of season game, when the announcer told fans not to invade the pitch, they would respond by singing “we’re Birmingham City, we do what we want.” Well, I 100% agree with the first part, but we can’t do what we want, we have to obey the rules like everyone else, or suffer the collective consequences. Fans going onto the pitch is pointless and moronic. There is no place in a football ground for unofficial pyrotechnics. Please obey the rules, or stay away. KRO.
