FSA: Premier League Leave Fans Hanging (again)

10 Oct 2022

Chelsea fans have released a statement criticising the Premier League and broadcasters as they still await news on the kick-off time for their upcoming game against Manchester United – now just 15 days away.

The Stamford Bridge game, due to take place on Saturday 22nd Oct, still has no kick-off time due to a predictable clash between UK broadcasters and Champions League schedules. Chelsea Supporters Trust said: “This highly-anticipated fixture is slowly becoming a nightmare for many.”

This is the latest instance of broadcasters picking games for TV that are certain to be moved later due to fixture clashes. These conditional picks leave fans hanging and have got to go.
