16 May 2022 | 2 comments

UEFA confirmed this week that their much-criticised Champions League expansion will be going ahead in 2024, but some concessions have been made following supporter lobbying.

The executive committee of the European football authority have approved changes that will expand the Champions League to 36 teams and re-organise the group stages into a single league.

Greed and more Greed,Super League in all but name. Its getting like our Premier League and Cups, you know what teams are in them before the season starts and in the end apathy will set in.

You have to blame the associations for going along with these changes bigger clubs getting richer season after season as for the fa cup and the league cup premier clubs only interested in later rounds will play their reserves in early rounds and lower league fans have to pay top dollar to watch reserve teams premier league and eufa are a joke
