FSA: FA Announce Rules To Protect Club Crests and Colours

15 Aug 2022 | 1 comment

The FA has said it will be introducing new rules to protect the heritage of football clubs in the men’s and women’s game.

The new rules will protect a club’s crest and home kit colours and require any club seeking to substantially change either to consult with supporters.

Funny how the football authorities and the bigger clubs are scrambling to propose changes in the wake of the recent Fan Led Review. Another example reported here, this time from the FA.

They are clearly trying to pacify…and dilute…the calls for change within the game in the hope that the thing they really fear, the independent regulator, will not happen. Too little, too late in my view.
