BCFC: Post Match Reaction
Courtesy of Blues TV
After a very special afternoon at St. Andrew’s on Saturday, Tom Wagner and Tom Brady shared their post match reactions in an interview with BluesTV.
The interview has been shared widely on social media today, but if you haven’t already seen it here it is. It is certainly worth viewing by Blues fans.

Tom Wagner a man who knows his business, when it would be easy to throw numbers around he sees the big picture refreshing to hear a person who wants to do everything the right way long may it continue kro
I thought everything went so well on Saturday.
The tribute to Trevor Francis was so emotional.
The result was perfect against a team just relegated from the Premier league.
Fans were beaming and positive.
Tom Wagner never seems to put a foot wrong in interviews. He doesn’t talk numbers or about how much we can spend on transfers. But instead of growing income streams to develop the club and wider area. What a breath of fresh air.
My one note of slight frustration was that the hand dryers in toilets still do not work, no paper towels were available and there’s still no hot water!!!!!
If they put that right by the time of the Plymouth game I’ll be delighted.
I think we did them proud on Saturday-they seem to appreciate our fanaticism and I suspect it’s on a different level to what they are used to.
As Tom Wagner has underlined several times, they are in this for the long haul, which is great news. In addition to giving Blues the best chance of succeeding on the pitch (within FFP!) it seems they also want to combine the best of an NFL matchday experience, with the best of our traditional matchday experience, so we are in for many more enjoyable Saturday afternoons down the Blues. (Especially if we keep winning!!!)
Saturday was a perfect day. Even Villa got hammered and Jude Bellingham scored for Real on his debut!! ????
A fantastic yet almost unreal experience. Is this really happening at our club, you bet it is. Tom Wager has brought the vision and financial muscle, Tom Brady global exposure, but l suspect much of the day to day improvements are driven by Gary Cook. What a team, smart but with a true understanding of the clubs identity. I watched the reaction to Jukey’s penalty, absolute genuine happiness amongst the directors. The stadium is being revitalised, the team are on the front foot, and the fans have renewed faith and belief. Even 200 plus fans waiting to get into the club shop. Love it, KRO
Apologies Mr Wagner for the typing error, put it down to excitement.
Haven’t seen such positivity at the ground for years. Match wasn’t the greatest but it’s a new era and new players so it’s going to take time but thought they never looked threatened and kept going and got the late penalty. Only negative was trying to get a drink in the Gil Merrick pre match and half time, way too slow, not blaming the people working but needs improving, small gripe but apart from that really buzzing this season which won’t be easy but steady and that’s not a bad thing
