This week so far so good. Much needed win against Huddersfield has set up tomorrow’s local derby with WBA. Draw good enough?.no let’s go for it. Away from pitchside for a moment- Tom Wagner’s profile with govt over HS2 has again lifted our club into respected circles of society. How lucky we are boys and girls.

Things are certainly looking up that’s for sure. Great win and an excellent performance on Tuesday night. Every member of the team played a part. A real shame about the incident with Bacuna. That was bang out of order and I hope the individual concerned is suitably ashamed of themselves. No place for racial abuse anywhere, and certainly not at St. Andrew’s where the only colours that matter are royal blue and white. Looking forward to the game tonight. Should be another fantastic atmosphere. Can they deliver another great result? A big ask against a good side in form. Let’s hope so though. We’ve shown we can play extremely well so nothing to fear in my view.

How enjoyable was that last night? Great atmosphere, another really good performance, although in a different way from Tuesday, and three very welcome points. I’m still not sure the penalty was called correctly, but who cares? I was impressed with the football played by the Baggies although they never really threatened us after their goal apart from the one clear cut chance they missed in the second half. Yes, all in all a great night. Well done Blues.

Absolutely Ed, bit of a slow start compared to Tuesday night, Albion are no mugs, but we battled all over the pitch. Fortunate penalty, l thought it was a corner initially, but having watched the replay from different angles the ref got it spot on in every sense of the word. Very cool penalty by Mr B too. But the thing which really impressed me was the reaction of the bench to the goals from Dion and Garry. It showed a real togetherness and fantastic team spirit. Then when John Eustace did his walk of pride, the way he was punching his chest and acknowledging the fans said it all. This guy wants this so badly. I don’t want Wayne Rooney anywhere near our club. I’d have thought a statement from the board supporting John and his coaches can only cement the positive vibe running through the club. We are definitely on the up.

Watching from Australia I was getting really excited again for the future- and then the Rooney rumours started. WE HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE. A popular manager, respected by the players, pushed aside for a “big name” ….. and didn’t that turn out well! PLEASE JUST BE A MEDIA RUMOUR……but I fear the comments are too frequent, and the club’s silence is deafening. So disappointing.

      Yep-our fears came to fruition.
Feel very sorry for JE, but hope to God the board know what they are doing.

Those who don’t learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them as the saying goes……Zola ? Hope not….
