BCFC: Anniversary Memories
As BCFC prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary later this year, Blues Trust wants to reflect on the incredible journey the club has taken since its formation in 1875. From its early days to the highs of cup triumphs and the passionate atmosphere at St. Andrew’s, Birmingham City has created countless unforgettable moments for its fans.
As part of the celebrations, we want to hear from you about your favourite memories of supporting the club.
Whether it’s a dramatic last-minute goal, a memorable match or simply a special moment you’ve shared with fellow Blues fans, your experiences are an important part of the club’s rich history. As this significant milestone is reached, Blues Trust would love to share the stories and memories that make being a part of Birmingham City so unique and special.
Quite separate to anything the club itself might organise, we invite Blues Trust members and all other supporters of the club to share their favourite memories with us. Your responses may be featured in upcoming Trust publications, social media posts or even special anniversary events.
This is your chance to contribute to the celebration of 150 years of Birmingham City and ensure that the voices of Blues supporters are heard.
Please send your memories to admin@bluestrust.org or share them on our social media pages with the hashtag #BirminghamCity150. Let’s come together to honour our shared history and celebrate the moments that have made us all proud to be part of the Birmingham City family.
We look forward to hearing from you and celebrating 150 years of Birmingham City.

The one outstanding memory was the semi final second leg against West Ham 2 -1 down in the first leg and 1-0 down at half-time 3-1 altogether. The second half performance was the best I have witnessed brilliant.
Many many memories good & bad. But going to Italy for the Anglo Italian cup when the fog came down & looking like the game would be delayed for a day then going on to win it. On the plane with the players. Just that many emotions in one trip. Was what being a Blues fan was/is all about. https://youtu.be/QMSY3-_00bw?si=tEcu83l6Wt7V43ad
