The newsletter fails to mention any of the potential positives of the scheme such as tracing of perpetrators amongst fans of undesirable behaviour, violence, racial abuse and abuse of oppostion players and officials and abuse of match officials.

If the FSA is serious about this, why has it not made enquiries of the ICO? The ICO is one of the best informed, knowledgeable and helpful public organisations available. Anyone, members of the public included can use the service. Just define the situation, state your concerns, and ask for the opinion of the ICO.
