Christmas Appeal Update
For many years Central Blues Travel has organised a Christmas Appeal to help people in need….children, families, the elderly and those who are homeless. This year eight other independent supporters groups, including Blues Trust, have joined with Central Blues Travel to support the appeal, make it bigger and help more people.
There are three events organised this year:
- Blues fans kids Christmas Party on 14 December
- Kids in Care Christmas Party on 21 December
- Christmas dinner for the homeless and elderly on Christmas Day
In addition, food parcels, presents (kids toys) and selection boxes will be delivered across Birmingham and parts of the Black Country.
You can help by donating non perishable foods, selection boxes, new kids toys or cash. Or, if you have time, a few more volunteers places to pack and deliver parcels or help serve on Christmas Day are still available.
There are still a few places left at the Big Blue Christmas Party if you want to take your children. Register via this email address Theprojectevents@outlook.com
The Blues Trust Drop-In Cafe will be open from 1pm till 2 pm before the Norwich City game this coming Saturday. It is located at Trinity Church, Coventry Road (just down the hill from away entrance opposite the tyre centre). Drop in for a cuppa and if you are able to, make a donation.
Thank you.
