The Football Governance Bill has completed its journey in the House of Lords and has moved to the House of Commons, where it will have a second reading on 28 April 2025. After that it will be referred to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Select Committee for closer scrutiny and discussion.
Blues accounts for last season were released last week. The key headlines are that the club increased income, made a reduced loss and invested significantly in infrastructure.
After another gloriously satisfying three points at the weekend against Shrewsbury Town, my sense of the feeling from supporters exiting our St. Andrew’s was akin to walking on air. Fanciful probably, but the sheer joy of seeing a performance so complete and stylish left big smiles all round.
