Blues completed one of their busiest and most successful transfer windows last week, with the late capture of Jay Stansfield bringing the total number of new recruits to 17. Chris Davies seemingly got what he wanted in having cover and competition for each position, with the surprising acquisition of Stansfield being the icing on the cake that most Blues fans wanted.
A new season arrives tomorrow with a full house expected at St. Andrew’s for the visit of Reading and the start of a campaign in League One. Fourteen short weeks have elapsed since the last season ended with, of course, the bitter disappointment of relegation.
The club held its second Open House last night with the theme of Ambition. The evening was highly impressive and if you weren’t able to watch it is well worth catching up on on Blues TV.
